All bracelets are hand braided giving it that special "attention to detail" . You will notice from above pictures, two shiny steel beads are used on either side of drawstrings. These shiny steel beads will never loose luster because its a natural property of steel, once polished it will remain in its shiny natural form, for a life long time. No claims can be made if you damage them due to misuse and allowing other acidic chemical agents discoloring them.
You may ask what if the braiding breaks off?
Satyajeet Sethi has even thought of that detail by specially ordering strings made in Europe from a factory that makes parachutes for Army. The reason to use such chute strings is to make sure the braiding stays reliable and the closing ends are sealed to perfection. Additional force used while drawing the two side strings will not cause any harm to the braiding as braided knots.
